A new type of media could be one where it focuses more on doing a live video blog for friends, families or another audience. If live is not prefered then it may also work as a simple video sharing app. While there may be other apps that serve the same purpose, this apps set itself off from other apps with its ability to act as an app like youtube when needed as well as a live video stream. Some may be worried about what content gets streamed, but the app should have terms of services that will restrict content may be unwanted. This media may service as another snapchat, or instagram, but focused more on the now. It allow users to show off their experiences, or their views on things.

If you had wanted to use an application, with the functionalities you mentioned, I believe that they all exist on youtube. Youtube has both video sharing as well as livestreaming options as well as content restriction policies. Hopefully that’s helpful! 🙂

This is a very interesting idea. I believe that Facebook allows you do to this now but it would be cool to have a platform that is strictly focused on sharing videos. If a user has a large following they can schedule shows at a certain time and have their followers tune in.
